Rituals

When it’s about SM meetings between a slave and a master there are often rules and rituals involved. To be honest it’s absolutely normal when a kind of rulebook already exists or is worked out between a dom and a sub. Rules and rituals are something good cause it gives the slave a kind of secure feeling how to react when he is with his master. And the slave mostly already knows what is expected from him and how he has to behave and to serve.

But there are many different kind of rituals and rules and also there are also many different reasons to do rituals. Let’s start with the softer ones.

The morning routine!

For example there is the morning routine. Some subs and slaves like to make everything perfect for their owner so that he can have a perfect start in the day. Bringing his first morning coffee to his bed is just one of a thousand examples. Or prepare the breakfast. Start to make coffee, fry some eggs, get the toast and the marmalade ready or whatever the master likes to have for breakfast. What is the motivation behind those rules? One reason can be that the sub/slave wants to show his master that he takes good care of him and that he can always rely on his slave.

Another motivation could be to show the master that the slave sees a kind of god in him. Why should a god have to worry about profane things like making breakfast when he has a slave who will take care of these things and worships him like this? Make the master feel like a god. Another motivation to do things like this could be a more selfish one. Calm down the master right after he woke up and maybe the slave will not have to suffer so much when he is owned by a sadist.

Now that we are already into the breakfast scene let’s imagine possible following rituals.
The question is when and how does the slave eat after he prepared breakfast? Maybe he is lucky enough to have the breakfast together with his owner on the table but it’s more likely that the slave will eat after his owner is ready. It could be a ritual that the slave eats from the ground out of a dog bowl. Or that the slave has to wait until his owner feeds him. Maybe in that dog bowl under the table. Or it may not even be in the same room. As you can see already in this scene there are a thousand ways to create rituals.

After some time, when the slave and the master do these rituals over and over again, it will become a normal thing for both of them to have that in their lives. You will not even think about this anymore. And this is the reason why you don’t find a lot written things about rituals and rules in the SM world. Because it gets a normal thing at some point.

Those or similar rituals can of course also be done for the case when the master is coming home from work. Does the slave kneel down when his owner returns and kisses his shoes? Does he lick them clean? Does he take care of Master‘s clothes?

Rituals that I personally use and like are the morning coffee brought to my bed.
I like it when a slave does this service without that I even have to mention it.
Another ritual I use personally is that my slaves always eat from the ground out of dog bowls. And they always eat after me. And it’s me who feeds them.

Rules!

Of course there are not only rituals but also rules! Rules are something that normally is demanded by the Master. Contrary to rituals that mostly get developed from both parts step by step rules are usually set up by the master and usually he demands that the slave/sub follows them strictly.

For example this can be rules that a slave has to follow no matter what:

• The slave has to be naked all the time
• The slave is not allowed to use any furniture
• The slave has to address his owner with Sir, Master, Massa….
• The slave has to get in a special position if he sees his owner for the first time of the day.
• The slave is not allowed to touch his balls or penis ever again.
• The slave has no own property
• The slave has to obey no matter what.

This list can go on and on. It’s only limited by the master’s fantasy.

One motivation to teach and to use rules on a slave could be to get the slave used to things, for example to be constantly naked. For a lot of beginners this is something that they are not used to. It’s something „unnormal“ to be forced to strip, to stay naked and to get touched and regularly inspected. Rules can help the new slave to adjust to this new world.

Another motivation could be to humiliate a slave and to put him in his place. He will surely understand quicker what his status is when he is not allowed to use any furniture and always has to stay on the ground, comparable with a dog for example.
Of course sometimes rules are used to make the slave fail on them and to have a reason to punish him. Rule number 5 for example is something that most slaves probably will fail on. You are not allowed to touch your dick or balls? What if you scratch them because it’s itching. Maybe you got shaved some days ago and the hair is growing back now. This can drive you nuts. Or, even worse, maybe your owner used nettles on your dick and/or balls.
See what I mean?

I use this following rules on my slaves:

• The slave is always naked, chained and collared
• The slave has to address me with „Massa“.
• The slave has to end each sentence with the word „Massa“.
• The slave sleeps and eats always on the ground.
• The slave is not allowed to use any furniture unless told otherwise.
• The slave is not allowed to touch his penis or dick. The only person who does that is me, his owner!
• Every slave gets whipped at least two times per day. If ordered the slave has to bring the tools that are used on him for his whipping.
• The slave has no rights or privileges at all. He is kept as a rightless, subhuman, inferior slave.

Protocols!

Protocols are used when several people meet together. Mostly it is used when the master has other masters and slaves around. Protocols can contain how the slaves are dressed, if they are lucky enough to get dressed at all. It can contain what the duties of a slave can be. For example it can be the duty of a slave to make sure that the glasses of master’s guest are never empty and are always being refilled. Those protocols can also contain the way how a slave has to address master’s guests or how he has to speak to them. Protocols are always used for the sake of formality. It makes sure that the slave doesn’t embarrass his master in front of others and that no embarrassing situations occur at all.
