TUTORIAL: Bondage Basics – Back-Arm Harness

Need to get their hands behind their back, and fast? THE PUPPETEER is back to teach you the ultimate convenience tie. This is a quick, simple, and effective way to secure your sub’s arms with minimal rope. Perfect for a moment of quick fun or for keeping them restrained while you prepare for what comes next.

Together with THE PUPPETEER, a great Bondage Master from the Netherlands, we present you some Basic Bondage Know-How. This one actually comes in a lot of variations when you look up tutorials for securing arms behind the back. We’re going to show you a very simple one here. Mostly because it can be done quickly like this, and because the others often need more than 10m of rope, which many beginners don’t have at home or know how to combine well when trying out such stuff for their first time. Alright, let’s start!

Step 1: Grip your subs arms/wrists with your off-hand. Put your chest on his shoulder to give him a little bit less ability to move or struggle. This will make him feel more submissive.

Then start with the classic column tie. Make the 3 wraps around his forearms. Make sure that you don’t make the tie on his wrists! Bad point for this tie.

After you’re done, you probably don’t have to put your chest on his shoulder anymore, as he’s feeling “half-secured” already.

Step 2: Take the short end over the wraps, and then go underneath and back out the other end again. Take the other end around your finger, place the looped end on top of it, pull it through the created loop and make the tie.

It’s good if there still is some slight play for the sub. If there’s too much, you can still correct that in a later step (Nr. 6). However, for now, just go to the next one.

Step 3: Pull the knot up, towards his upper back. Then go with the long end around his chest, hook it in around itself, and go back again over the chest.

Step 4: When you come back make another hook, then go over the first one mentioned above, back down behind it, and wrap it around the rope between the hooks and the column tie.

Step 5: Go with your hand behind the rope that goes over his chest (on the part that’s on his back of course) and go with your loose rope behind this hand, and then with the rest on top of it.

Then go with your other hand with a finger between the space of your first hand and the rope, hook into the loose rope and pull that through. Aaand you’ve made a securing knot.

Step 6: Now we come to what we mentioned in Step 2. As you can see in the pictures and the video, it may be possible for the sub to pull his hands out of the wraps. To prevent that, you can now go over his first arm, then go into the spacing between them, around the wraps and back out to you the other end.

Go back up, this time around the strap that goes to the other shoulder, then hook it around the cross you made with this step. Make a last knot (same as in Step 4 or other) with your leftover rope to secure it, and you’re done!

Congratulations!

You now tied your subs arms behind his back. Once you get the hang of this tie, it’s actually really easy and fast to do. Which makes it a good convenience tie to do when you want to secure your sub for quick fun, or in between while you prepare other kinky things with him 😉
